HD projector, custom software, computer, extruded aluminum cone

Color Deforming a Cone is focused on creating a sense of vision that happens between physical reality and perception. An extruded cone is mounted on a wall and has color projected into it in concentric circles which appear and overlay onto one another. The viewer is left with physical retinal exhaustion so that the afterimages are overlaid onto another color. The work is relentless; it continues to add color, overlaying color over color, until one cannot be sure of what is one's own sight.
